TIPS AND TRICKS TO MAKE YOUR MUSIC AT HOME

  • Well this entry is not about how you should compose your music and what you should do, so you can land a no1 hit someday. Music is in your blood, and if it really is, your the captain of your ship.
  • I can guide you to some things here, but staying to the topic on how actually you can record your music at home, actually the same things i am doing right now.
  • You need to spend some money and these things cost more than a dollar.
  • First of all, a Mac, because it is hassle free and so much better to work with. I ain't a windows hater but ain't a fan either. A Mac Mini is what i have, 4GB to 8 GB of Ram, 300 Gb or more of free hard disk space, i have a 2,5 GHz intel core duo graphic card installed.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_mini
  • A USB recording interface. i have an old is gold one, but it works just fine. That's how you connect your instruments to your computer. Check out the M-audio recording interfaces.
  • Logic express 9 or Logic Studio. I started off with Garage Band but if you wanna get professional, get that Logic Express. I personally think that, there's nothing better than that.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logic_Express
  • A guitar or any other instrument that needs plugging in, a microphone if you do sing, some earphones with extra padding and most of all Beer, lots of giant beers. ha ha.
  • Read those manuals thoroughly or you can use the other adverb throughly, but read them. it's worth it. The rest is all about trial and error. If you really need some help, just write me. Rock and roll, baby!!
