- Almost a month since my last entry and a very experimental, though very tasty delight to share.....
- These are spiced brownies with balsamico and fleur de sel. :-)
- Melt 200 gms of bitter chocolate and allow it to cool in an open space
- Beat 4 eggs, add 340 gms of sugar and beat till you have a very creamy mixture or until the sugar has dissolved.
- Add 150 ml of sunflower oil and 20 gms of dark balsamico to the melted chocolate, stir and mix.
- Now mix 175 gms of wheat flour, 1 Tspn of baking powder, 1 Tspn of vanilla powder, 1/4 Tspn of cardamon powder. Add in the egg mixture and lastly the balsamico chocolate mixture. Mix this up till you have a soft runny dough.
- Pour in a oiled form, shouldn't be more than 3-4 cms high, Lastly sprinkle 1/2 Tspn of fleur de sel on your mixture and bake at about 180° for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool, cut into 5cms cubes and serve with Balsamico reduction. Believe me, this is a nice combination. enjoy.
- This makes 20 brownies.
- Brigit? thanks once again.... ;-)
